Job summary

Advocate Health's Lexington Medical Center Emergency Department in Lexington, NC is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department. The role focuses on patient-centered care, rapid assessment, and coordination of nursing care in a 25-bed ED environment with emphasis on teamwork.

You will provide evidence-based nursing care, work within established standards, and participate in safety and quality initiatives.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program.
• RN license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification.
• ACLS required within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care using the nursing process.
• Deliver safe, therapeutic care in line with established standards and procedures.
• Lead efforts to create the safest patient environment and best patient experience.
• Collaborate with the care team across the continuum.
