Advocate Health's Atrium Health Stanly Emergency Department in Albemarle, NC seeks an experienced Registered Nurse to deliver and coordinate care in a fast-paced ED. You will assess, monitor, and respond to emergencies, collaborating with physicians and support teams to ensure timely, high-quality treatment.

Ideal candidates hold an accredited nursing program, current state RN license, BLS certification, ACLS within 6 months of hire, and at least 6 months of RN experience in acute care settings.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
• Candidates must have at least 6 months of RN experience, this position is not for new graduates
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
• ACLS required within 6 months of hire
• 1 year of inpatient RN experience preferred

Responsibilities

• As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
• Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
