Job summary

Atrium Health Kannapolis Emergency Department is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse to join our 24-hour ED team. The role focuses on coordinating and delivering comprehensive patient care via the nursing process, ensuring safety and quality across the patient care continuum in a high-acuity environment.

Ideal candidates have a nursing program background, state RN licensure, and BLS; ACLS within 6 months of hire and CCU/ED experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
• At least 6 months of RN experience.
• RN license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification.
• ACLS required within 6 months of hire.
• 1 year of Critical Care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care.
• Lead efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
