Job summary

Tenet-AZ Region in Surprise, AZ is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the ED - Emergency Department to provide professional nursing care in a fast-paced hospital setting.

You will assess patients, coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams, implement orders, supervise staff on shift when needed, perform hourly rounding, and uphold safety and quality standards for a diverse patient population. Active AZ RN license and CPR required; ACLS/PALS as applicable.

Qualifications

• Arizona RN license required
• CPR certification required; ACLS or as applicable by facility
• ER/ICU experience preferred
• L&D: Advanced Fetal Monitoring or obtain within six months of hire

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care in the ED setting.
• Assess patient conditions and coordinate with care teams.
• Implement physician orders and supervise staff as needed.
• Perform hourly rounding and ensure patient safety and comfort.
• Uphold quality of care and participate in discharge planning
