Job summary

Tenet-AZ Region in Surprise, AZ is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the ED. This role provides professional nursing care, coordinates care planning, and directs other staff as needed to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.

Candidates must hold a nursing degree from an accredited program and an AZ RN license; CPR is required. ACLS is required by some departments; PALS/ENPC and NRP may be required within specified timelines.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree from an accredited nursing school.
• L&D: Advanced Fetal Monitoring or must obtain within six months of hire.
• Two years of current Level III NICU experience including neonatal ventilator.
• Arizona RN license; CPR; ACLS as applicable by facility/department.
• ER/ICU/Endoscopy/Tele/Cardiac Cath Lab/L&D: ACLS required on orientation.
• PALS or ENPC within ninety days; NRP upon orientation.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care within an assigned unit.
• Coordinate care planning with other disciplines and supervise staff as needed.
• Perform hourly rounding and ensure patient safety and comfort.
• Implement orders and evaluate patient status using the nursing process.
• Adapt care plans to patient needs and hospital protocols.
