Job summary

Tenet-AZ Region is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the ED in Avondale, Arizona. This staff position delivers professional nursing care in a fast-paced emergency department and collaborates with a multidisciplinary team.

The RN will coordinate care, assess patient needs, implement orders, and mentor junior staff. Current AZ RN license and BLS/ACLS as required by the facility are essential. Advanced certifications are a plus.

Qualifications

• Education: Nursing degree from an accredited nursing program.
• Current AZ RN license with CPR; ACLS as required by department.
• ER/ICU experience and specialized certifications as indicated.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care on assigned unit.
• Coordinate care planning with other disciplines.
• Act as supervisor directing other healthcare staff.
• Assess patient needs and discharge planning.
• Participate in hourly rounding and safety practices.
• May be in charge for a shift.
