Job summary

Openwork Health is seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN ER) to join a high-acuity, fast-paced emergency department. You will deliver safe, compassionate care to patients and collaborate with physicians and teams, while advancing your clinical skills and career within the healthcare industry.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted RN license.
• Minimum of one year of ER or acute care experience.
• Current certifications in BLS and ACLS; other specialty certifications may be required by facility.
• Strong critical thinking, assessment, and communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure clinical environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in emergency situations, assessing patient conditions rapidly and accurately.
• Initiate appropriate interventions based on clinical protocols and physician orders.
• Monitor and document patient vital signs, symptoms, and responses to treatment.
• Collaborate effectively with physicians, advanced practice providers, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Administer medications and treatments safely, following established procedures.
• Communicate clearly with patients and families about care plans and next steps.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, regulatory standards, and infection control procedures.
