Job summary

Openwork Health is seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) for a full-time position in a fast-paced emergency department. You will assess, treat, and monitor patients with acute conditions while collaborating with physicians and a multidisciplinary team.

The ideal candidate holds an active RN license, with BLS/ACLS; PALS is a bonus. Strong communication and teamwork are essential to deliver high-quality patient care and maintain safety in high-pressure situations.

Qualifications

• Current, active RN license in good standing.
• Minimum of one year of ER/critical care experience preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required; PALS certification a plus.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills; able to work under pressure.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform rapid patient assessments and determine condition severity.
• Administer medications, treatments, and procedures per protocols and orders.
• Monitor and document vital signs and patient responses; maintain accurate records.
• Coordinate with physicians and healthcare team to ensure comprehensive care.
• Provide emotional support and clear information to patients and families.
