Job summary

Openwork Health is seeking Emergency Room Registered Nurses (ER RN) to deliver high-quality, compassionate care in a fast-paced emergency department. You will work closely with physicians and other professionals to rapidly assess and treat diverse emergencies while maintaining patient safety and comfort.

Qualifications

• Active and unencumbered RN license.
• Minimum of one year ER RN experience preferred.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Excellent clinical assessment, critical thinking, and decision-making skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities for collaboration within multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to thrive in high-pressure environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments on admission, during care, and prior to discharge.
• Monitor and document vital signs, symptoms, and patient responses to treatment.
• Administer medications, intravenous fluids, and other prescribed treatments per protocol.
• Assist with diagnostic procedures and coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams.
• Educate patients and families about emergency conditions, treatments, and post-discharge care instructions.
• Maintain accurate, timely medical records in compliance with regulatory and facility standards.
• Triage, stabilize, and prioritize care for multiple patients simultaneously.
• Participate in ongoing training to remain current with best practices in emergency nursing care.
