Job summary

Mercy Health's The Jewish Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department. The ER RN will provide exceptional nursing care, assess patient status, and develop care plans in collaboration with the care team.

Requirements include an Associate or Bachelor in Nursing, active RN licensure, BLS/ACLS/PALS, and at least 1 year of RN experience; strong organizational skills and ability to work in a fast-paced ED setting are essential.

Qualifications

• One year of professional RN experience is required.
• Recent ED/CCU experience preferred but not required.
• EPIC EHR training is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team.
• Care for groups of patients in a fast-paced, high-intensity ED setting.
• Evaluate and revise plans of care to achieve outcomes.
• Serve as the point of contact for patient care coordination across departments.
• Administer medications safely per policy.
