Job summary

Kingman Regional Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide evidence-based nursing care across multiple units, following the nursing process and in alignment with state nursing practice acts. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care while collaborating with physicians, peers, and the care team.

Qualifications include an Arizona RN license, Associate Degree in Nursing or diploma, and BLS certification; unit-specific certifications (EKG, ACLS, PALS, NRP) may be required

Qualifications

  • Associate degree in nursing or nursing diploma program completed.
  • Current, valid Arizona RN license or compact state RN license.
  • Current BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
  • Basic EKG competency within 3 months (various units where required).
  • PALS/ACLS/NRP certifications may be required depending on unit.

Responsibilities

  • Provide evidence-based nursing care to prevent healthcare acquired conditions and readmissions.
  • Perform nursing assessments and collect pertinent data from patient and care team.
  • Develop and implement the nursing plan of care and evaluate patient response.
  • Coordinate nursing personnel and patient care quality and satisfaction.
  • Evaluate patient progress and revise nursing diagnoses as needed.
  • Assist with orientation of new staff to the unit as requested.

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing or graduate of a Nursing Diploma program
Bachelor’s in nursing
