Job summary

Emerus is seeking an experienced Emergency Room Nurse in Las Vegas to assess, plan, direct and evaluate patient care. You will provide age-specific nursing services in a fast-paced ER, collaborating with physicians and team members to ensure safe, effective care.

Applicants must hold an active RN license, have 2+ years ER experience, and current BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications. BSN preferred. English fluency and strong documentation are required for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree required; BSN preferred.
• Current RN licensure in the state without sanctions.
• 2+ years ER or comparable experience.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications; TNCC preferred.
• English fluency in speaking and writing.
• Pennsylvania Candidates: Act 33/Act 73 completed within last 5 years, or must be obtained prior to start date.

Responsibilities

• Plan and provide age-specific nursing care in ER.
• Complete accurate, concise medical records documentation.
• Observe and record signs, symptoms and patient status.
• Follow physician orders in delivering nursing care.
• Collect laboratory samples and perform testing per policies.
• Adhere to infection control and aseptic techniques.
• Manage admission, discharge, and transfer procedures.
• Set up equipment and assist with procedures as needed.
• Participate in quality assessment activities and meetings.
