Job summary

Atrium Health Mercy is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department to provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process, delivering safe and effective treatment in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires completion of an accredited nursing program, a valid RN license in the state of practice, and BLS certification. Weekend, holiday, and varied shifts are part of the schedule with base compensation within the posted pay range.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care.
• Lead efforts to create the safest patient environment and best patient experience across the continuum.
• Utilize evidence-based practice and clinical decision making in daily patient care.
