Job summary

Advocate Christ Medical Center in the Emergency Department is seeking a registered nurse for a full-time position with a 36-hour work week. The role includes a 0.9 3rd shift schedule and every other weekend and holiday rotation, with a pay range of $38.20 to $57.30 per hour.

Responsibilities include applying evidence-based nursing, collaborating with the care team, maintaining patient safety and accurate EHR documentation, and participating in ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• RN with licensure to practice in the required state.
• BSN preferred; minimum 1 year clinical nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Engage in nursing care using the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement and evaluate.
• Monitor patient conditions, adjust care plans, and collaborate with the care team.
• Document accurately in the EHR and adhere to safety and ethical standards.
