Job summary

Heywood Hospital in Gardner, MA is seeking an experienced ED Registered Nurse to provide direct and indirect patient care in the Emergency Department under the nurse manager. You will assess, plan, implement and evaluate care, coordinating with physicians, and ensuring effective communication across the care team.

You will document thoroughly, support patient education, and participate in safety initiatives and performance improvement activities to enhance care quality.

Qualifications

• AS in nursing required; BS in nursing preferred.
• 3-5 years ED experience preferred.
• RN license in MA with ACLS/PALS and BLS; TNCC/ENPC/CEN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing interventions.
• Delivers patient care per standards and protocols.
• Documents accurately and communicates with the health care team.
