Job summary

Surgery Partners, Inc. seeks an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN) in Texas. This role requires ADN with BSN preferred, an active Texas RN license, and at least 3 years of ER care in an acute hospital setting.

BLS/ACLS required; PALS within orientation; TNCC/ENPC preferred; NIH Stroke Scale certification required within orientation. You will perform rapid assessments, triage, administer medications, coordinate care with physicians, and participate in emergency protocols while

Qualifications

• ADN required; BSN preferred.
• Texas RN license in good standing.
• Minimum 3 years ER experience in an acute care hospital.
• BLS, ACLS mandatory; PALS required within orientation.
• TNCC and ENPC preferred; NIH Stroke Scale certification required within orientation.

Responsibilities

• Performs comprehensive nursing assessments and triage in the ED.
• Administers medications, IV therapies, and monitors response.
• Collaborates with physicians and multidisciplinary teams for patient care.
• Supports ED procedures including stroke alerts and STEMI activations.
• Maintains accurate documentation in the electronic medical record.
• Ensures infection prevention and patient safety throughout care.
