Job summary

Qualifications

• RN license required.
• Associate Degree required.
• ACLS certification due within 30 days of employment start date.
• PALS certification due within 30 days of employment start date.

Responsibilities

• Assists with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high quality, patient-centered care.
• Participates in ongoing assessment of the quality of patient care services, in collaboration with the management team.
• Collaborates with subject matter experts and managers to create an environment of teamwork to improve outcomes and service.
• Supports a patient-first philosophy and engages in service recovery when necessary.
• Operationalizes nursing strategies to improve engagement, including hourly rounds and other initiatives.
• Provides recommendations related to interviewing, selecting, and training new staff; supports action plans and performance evaluations.
• Assists with staff scheduling and labor management.
• Supports inventory control and management of supplies and equipment.

Education

Registered Nurse (RN) License

Associate Degree

Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification

Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
