Emerus in Pittsburgh, PA seeks an Emergency Room Registered Nurse for a full-time day swing shift (11A-11P). The role involves assessing, planning, directing, and evaluating patient care in the ER to ensure safety and comfort.

You will document care, monitor vital signs, and follow physician orders in a fast-paced setting. Requirements include an Associate’s degree (BSN preferred), active PA RN license, 2+ years ER experience, BLS/ACLS/PALS, and clearances.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree, required; BSN preferred.
• Current state RN licensure without sanctions.
• 2+ years RN ER experience or equivalent.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications; TNCC preferred.
• English fluency in writing and speaking.
• Pennsylvania Act 33/Act 73 clearances within 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Provide age-specific, developmentally appropriate ER nursing care.
• Document medical records accurately and legibly.
• Monitor and record signs, symptoms, and patient status.
• Follow physician orders and assist with procedures.
• Maintain patient privacy and infection control standards.
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers.
