Job summary

Northern Nevada Health System's North Valleys ER is seeking an experienced Emergency Department RN for part-time, 24 hours per week, with a $7,500 sign-on bonus. The facility operates 24/7, treating patients from pediatrics to seniors, with advanced imaging and lab services.

Qualifications

• NV RN license is required.
• 2-3 years of emergency department experience preferred or in CCU.
• Extensive EMS background experience.
• Current BLS, ACLS (within 6 months of hire), and PALS (within 6 months of hire).

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and evaluate outcomes, consulting specialists as needed.
• Perform head-to-toe assessments across pediatric to geriatric patients.
• Utilize triage to ensure timely and appropriate care and assign triage categories.
• Monitor hemodynamic status and interpret results.
• Assess and reassess pain and educate patients and families on pain management.
