Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Hospital in Whittier, CA seeks an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for the Emergency Department to deliver 12-hour shifts, organize, plan, and coordinate patient care using the Watson Model.

The role emphasizes adherence to hospital values, evidence-based practice, and collaboration with the Clinical Unit Supervisor to ensure safe, high-quality care across diverse patient populations.

Formación

• RN with required education and licensure in California.
• Experience in Emergency Department preferred; MLKCH Nurse Residency Program or Transition Fellows program may be considered.
• Current California Nursing license; BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Provide high-quality, patient/family-centered care.
• Utilize the Watson Model of Care and SBAR for hand-offs.
• Assist in coordinating discharge planning and collaborating with care managers.
