Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, patient/family centered care in a 12-hour ED shift.
• Perform nursing assessments, plan, implement and evaluate care using SBAR and Watson model.
• Coordinate discharge planning with care managers and interdisciplinary teams.
• Maintain safety, infection control and regulatory compliance in the ED.
• Document care thoroughly in the EMR and communicate changes to the physician.
