Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Hospital in Whittier, CA is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Emergency Department.

The role provides 12-hour shifts delivering patient/family centered care using the Watson Model of Care and reports to the Clinical Unit Supervisor. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, participate in hand-offs with SBAR, and support quality and performance improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Education as RN (Associate, Diploma or equivalent; BSN preferred).
• Minimum 1 year ER clinical nursing experience.
• Current California Nursing license.
• BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications preferred.

Responsabilités

• Deliver patient/family centered care using the Watson Model.
• Prioritize and organize care; coordinate with care teams.
• Perform SBAR hand-offs and accurate documentation.
• Support discharge planning and quality/performance improvement.
