Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Hospital is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department. You will be responsible for organizing and delivering patient-centered care over 12-hour shifts, using the Watson Model of Care as a framework, and coordinating with the care team.

The role requires a California RN license, at least 1 year in emergency nursing, and commitment to our mission and core values while supporting quality and performance improvement efforts.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in nursing or nursing diploma; BSN preferred.
• Minimum of one year in Emergency Department nursing.
• Current California Nursing license; Basic EKG competence preferred.
• Bilingual Spanish preferred; basic computer skills.

Responsabilités

• Use nursing process to assess and plan care for patients and families.
• Prioritize and organize patient care, ensuring follow through.
• Document care, communicate changes with physicians and team.
• Participate in discharge planning and care coordination.
• Attend to patient rights and maintain a therapeutic nurse/patient relationship.
