Job summary

Riverside Community Hospital in California seeks a Meal Relief Registered Nurse to provide high‑quality care in the Emergency Department while relieving other licensed nurses during break/meal periods.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years RN experience in an acute care hospital in the Emergency Department required.
• Graduate of Accredited School of Nursing; BSN preferred
• Current licensure in California as a Registered Nurse
• National RN Certification preferred
• Current BCLS required
• Current ACLS required
• Current PALS required
• TNCC within 6 months of hire

Responsibilities

• The Meal Relief Registered Nurse servicing the Emergency Department assumes responsibility for the nursing process and delivery of patient care while relieving other licensed nurses during break/meal periods.
• Demonstrates clinical nursing judgement in an efficient and effective manner.
• Collaborates with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care and ensure standards of practice are met.
