Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 17 years of age or older required/preferred.

• Medical terminology course within first year of employment.
• CHAA and CMA certifications preferred.
• Customer service and communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Admit and register patients for services in a professional manner.
• Verify insurance coverage and collect co-pays/deductibles.
• Document interactions and update patient records accurately.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and protect patient confidentiality.
• Handle incoming calls and direct to appropriate department.
• Assist with scheduling, refunds, and payment processing as needed.
