Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Greets patients and the public and provides information professionally.
• Processes pre-registered accounts and completes registration with patient demographics, insurance and medical data.
• Obtains required signatures on medical, financial and compliance documents.
• Scans documents into the electronic medical and financial records.
• Verifies insurance eligibility and coordinates prior authorizations when needed.
• Collects payments and assists with balances due at admission or discharge.
• Collaborates with the care team to ensure patient satisfaction and maximize reimbursement.
