Job summary

Baptist Medical Center East in Alabama is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department. The ED RN will provide supervision and coordinate nursing activities on shift, including weekends and holidays, to ensure quality patient care.

Responsibilities include utilizing the nursing process for patient assessment, planning, and interventions, and collaborating with physicians and other clinicians. The role may include additional duties within scope of practice.

Qualifications

• Degree in Nursing required.
• Active RN licensure required.
• BLS required.
• ACLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC may be required depending upon area assigned.

Responsibilities

• Supervise nursing personnel on shift, weekends and holidays.
• Coordinate nursing activities to ensure quality and continuity of patient care.
• Utilize the nursing process for patient assessments, planning and interventions.
• Collaborate with Physicians and other clinicians in planning and implementing patient care.
• May have additional duties within scope of role.
