Job summary

Mercy Health in Fairfield, OH is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for the Emergency Room at Fairfield Hospital. You will assess patient status, prioritize care, and implement nursing interventions in a fast-paced, interdisciplinary team environment.

Requirements include an accredited associates or bachelor’s degree in nursing, active RN licensure, and BLS/ACLS/PALS preferred at hire with completion within 6 months.

Qualifications

• Active RN licensure in the state of practice.
• BLS, ACLS and PALS are preferred at hire and must be obtained within 6 months if not currently held.
• Associate or Bachelor degree in Nursing from an accredited program.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care team to coordinate patient care.
• Assess patient status, determine priorities and implement nursing interventions.
• Develop and revise care plans to improve outcomes.
• Administer medications safely according to policy.
