Animas Surgical Hospital in Durango, CO is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department to provide high-quality patient care on a fast-paced unit. You will assess, plan, implement and evaluate care, coordinating with physicians and the care team to optimize outcomes.

The role requires an active RN license, CPR, and per-policy ACLS/PALS/TNCC; BSN is preferred. This on-site position offers competitive pay and benefits along with opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• RN license required.
• CPR certification.
• ACLS, PALS and TNCC certifications per policy.
• BSN preferred.

Responsabilités

• Admits, transfers, and discharges patients.
• Completes ongoing patient assessment and documents according to policy.
• Develops patient plan of care with goals and interventions.
• Coordinates discharge planning with the care team.
• Collaborates with physicians and staff in teaching and care planning.
• Maintains awareness of nursing research and practice improvements.
