Job summary

Our team at Animas Surgical Hospital is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department in Durango. The RN will assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care across the ED, working with physicians and the care team.

Requirements include an RN license, CPR, and preferred ACLS, PALS, and TNCC. Graduation from an accredited nursing program is required, with BSN preferred. On-site role with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduation from accredited school of nursing.
• Current state RN license; CPR certification.
• ACLS, PALS and TNCC certifications per policy.
• Previous RN experience in related care area preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care using the nursing process.
• Admit, transfer, and discharge patients and document assessments.
• Collaborate with care team for discharge planning and education.
• Monitor patient conditions and report changes promptly.
