Job summary

Community Hospital South is seeking a PRN Registered Nurse to work in the Emergency Room. The ER RN will assess and treat patients in a fast-paced environment, coordinating with the care team and families to ensure quality care in line with hospital policies.

Requirements include Oklahoma RN licensure, 1 year ER/Med-Surg/ICU experience, and BLS within 30 days; ACLS/PALS within 120 days. This PRN role offers flexibility to support patient care needs across shifts.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse licensure with the State of Oklahoma.
• Minimum of one year experience in Med-Surg, Emergency, or ICU preferred.
• BLS required within 30 days of hire; ACLS and PALS within 120 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care in the emergency room per policy and standards.
• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate and coordinate patient treatment plans.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team and family to ensure quality care.
• Maintain knowledge of medications, equipment, outcomes, and complications.
