Job summary

Community Hospital South is seeking a PRN Registered Nurse for the Emergency Room to join a compassionate, patient-focused team in Oklahoma City. You will assess, plan, implement, and coordinate emergency care in collaboration with patients, families, and the health care team.

The RN will provide direct care in the ER, maintain knowledge of medications and equipment, and uphold care standards. BLS required within 30 days; ACLS/PALS within 120 days. ER experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse Licensure with the State of Oklahoma required.
• Minimum of one year experience in Med-Surg, Emergency, or ICU preferred.
• BLS Healthcare required within 30 days of hire. ACLS and PALS required within 120 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provides care to patients in the emergency room according to policy and procedure and care standards.
• Maintains knowledge of medications, equipment, expected patient outcomes, and anticipated complications.
• Coordinates patient care with multidisciplinary team.

Our team at Community Hospital South is looking for a RN to help work as needed in the emergency room. ER nurses provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies and procedures of the Hospital. In collaboration with the patient, the patient’s family and other members of the health care team, the ER RN assesses, plans, implements, evaluates and coordinates treatment plans. ER nurses always works as a team member within the entire facility and will help performs other duties as assigned.
