Job summary

Southern Regional Medical Center in Peachtree City, GA, seeks a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department with Telemetry duties. Night shifts consist of three 12-hour shifts.

You will deliver safe patient care, coordinate closely with physicians, and supervise nursing personnel while maintaining patient privacy. The role requires active RN license, BLS/ACLS/PALS or ENPC within designated timelines, and ER experience; a BSN is preferred.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN license.
• BLS certificate required on hire.
• ACLS certificate within 30 days of hire.
• PALS certificate and/or ENPC within 30 days of hire.
• Basic Arrhythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire.
• Minimum 1 year ER staff nurse experience; ER setting preferred.
• CEN certification preferred.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe patient care in Telemetry using the nursing process.
• Direct patient/family teaching and supervise other nursing personnel.
• Communicate with physicians about changes in patient condition and test results.
• Ensure EMTALA compliance and report abuse as required.
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality.
