Job summary

Madison Health in London, OH is seeking a Registered Nurse for the ER. This full-time night shift (7pm–7am) includes weekend and holiday rotation, with a sign-on bonus of up to $15,000.

The RN will provide direct and indirect patient care in the Emergency Department, triage patients, administer medications, and collaborate with physicians, nurses and families to promote healing.

Minimum qualifications include an Ohio RN license, BLS within 30 days, ACLS within 6 months and PALS within 6 months.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse licensure in Ohio required.
• BLS certification within 30 days of employment required.
• ACLS certification within 6 months of employment required.
• PALS certification within 6 months of employment required.

Responsibilities

• Triage patients entering the Emergency Department and perform age-appropriate assessments.
• Collect patient history data and document interventions and responses.
• Collaborate with patients, families and health team to provide compassionate nursing care.
• Administer medications and treatments following five rights to reduce errors.
• Educate patients and families about plan of care and expected outcomes.
• Maintain knowledge of nursing laws and work within legal scope.
