Madison Health in London, Ohio, is seeking a Registered Nurse - Float (Nights) for a part-time night shift (7 PM–7 AM). You will provide direct and indirect patient care in the department, coordinating with physicians and nursing staff to respond quickly to changes in patient condition.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse licensure in State of Ohio.
• BLS certification within 30 days of employment.
• ACLS certification within 6 months of employment.
• PALS certification within 6 months of employment.
• CEN, NRP, TNCC certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient care in the department setting.
• Communicate changes in patient condition with physicians, Nurse Manager, and coworkers.
• Respond quickly and accurately to changes in patient condition or response to treatment.
• Perform age-related patient assessments and reassessments per policy.
• Collect relevant patient history data and document assessments and interventions.
• Collaborate with patient, family, and health team to provide compassionate nursing care.
• Administer medications and treatments following five rights and reduce error potential.
• Educate patients and families about plan of care and expected outcomes.
• Maintain knowledge of nursing laws and practice within licensure.
