Job summary

Qualifications

• Current Louisiana nursing license in good standing.
• BLS, ACLS, CPI, and PALS certifications required; new grads must obtain within 6 months.
• Commitment to high-quality patient care in a fast-paced ER setting.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize, coordinate and delegate care touchpoints for patients.
• Maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
• Monitor patients and communicate changes to the care team.
• Prevent and treat wounds.
• Adhere to Joint Commission infection control standards.
• Ensure continuity of care and efficient throughput with exceptional patient experiences.
• Consult with supervisor when unable to complete tasks safely.
• Provide patient and family education using available resources.
