Job summary

100 LCMC Health in New Orleans seeks an experienced ER Nurse to deliver direct patient care in a fast-paced emergency department. You will assess, treat, and advocate for patients and families while maintaining a safe environment and high standards of infection control.

The role emphasizes teamwork, rapid triage, wound care, patient education, and collaboration with physicians and the care team. A Louisiana RN license and current BLS certification are required; ACLS/PALS preferred with 6 months

Qualifications

• Louisiana RN license and active license to practice.
• Current BLS certification; ACLS and PALS preferred or within 6 months of hire.
• Experience in Emergency Room and acute care settings.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize and delegate all care touchpoints for patients.
• Maintain and advocate a safe environment for patients and staff.
• Monitor patients and engage with families and care team on changes.
• Prevent and treat wounds; apply infection-control practices.
• Ensure continuity of care and efficient throughput.
• Educate patients and families using available resources.
