Job summary

Universal Health Services' Lakewood Ranch Medical Center in Bradenton, FL is seeking a Registered Nurse in the ER. The role provides safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with hospital policies, standards, and the Patient Centered Care philosophy.

The ideal candidate will hold an active Florida RN license, BLS certification, and ACLS/NRP as required, with the ability to lead a clinical team and communicate effectively.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN program.
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association or Red Cross) at time of hire.
• Current Florida or Compact Nursing License.
• Prefer 1 year full-time or 3 years part-time experience in acute care.

Responsibilities

• Provides professional leadership and support to the healthcare team.
• Provides safe, competent nursing care for patients per facility policies and Patient Centered Care philosophy.
• Demonstrates Service Excellence standards at all times; strong communication and customer service skills required.
