Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Administers medications as prescribed and has knowledge of ordered meds.
• Provides care appropriate to the condition and age of the patient.
• Formulates and evaluates a teaching plan with family involvement.
• Collaborates with multidisciplinary team to provide patient care.
• Assists physicians with procedures and provides needed services.
• Addresses psychosocial needs and coordinates with social services for hospital and post-discharge care.
• Practices cost-effective care and minimizes waste of supplies and equipment.
• Prioritizes patient care and maintains patient safety.
