UCHealth seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department—on-site in Pueblo West. The role delivers direct patient care in a high‑acuity setting, utilizing the nursing process and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure exceptional outcomes.

The position requires RN licensure, BLS, and clinical experience, with ACLS/advanced certifications preferred. On-site schedule is full-time with a flex shift and a two-week pay period, offering comprehensive UCHealth benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN program; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• State RN licensure and BLS Healthcare Provider.
• 6 months nursing experience.
• ACLS preferred at hire or within 6 months; NIHSS within 6 months; ENPC or PALS within 6 months; TNCC or ATCN within 1 year.
• BLS/CPR card valid through 60 days after start date.

Responsabilités

• Direct patient care using the nursing process in a fast-paced ED setting.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Provide high-quality, direct care up to ED level 1 trauma designation.
• Precept and mentor staff/new nurses in clinical skills and UCHealth protocols.

Connaissances
