Job summary

UCHealth is seeking a registered nurse for the Emergency Department at Parkview Medical Center in Pueblo, Colorado. This on-site, full-time role features day shift, 72 hours per pay period, and a pay range of $35.29 to $54.71 per hour, dependent on experience.

As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will provide direct patient care in ED, meet licensure requirements, and engage in ongoing clinical education and safety standards. Colorado FAMLI and UCHealth benefits are included.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved RN program.
• State licensure as RN with BLS and relevant life support certifications.
• 6 months of nursing (RN) experience.
• ACLS preferred at hire or within 6 months; NIHSS within 6 months; ENPC or PALS within 6 months; TNCC or ATCN within 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department up to level 1 trauma designation.
• Contribute to safety and quality at the point of care.
• Support clinical education and precepting for staff.

Skills

RN

BLS Certified

ACLS preferred

NIHSS within 6 months

PALS/ENPC within 6 months

6 months RN experience

Education

Bachelor's degree in Nursing

Graduate of accredited nursing program
