Catholic Medical Center in Manchester, NH is seeking an Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) for a mid shift (11AM–11PM) in a Level III Trauma Center. You will care for patients with emergent conditions and work with a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment.

The role emphasizes evidence-based care, pain management, patient education, and proactive service. Nursing education includes BSN preference and NH RN licensure with BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• BSN strongly preferred
• Specialty certification strongly preferred
• Minimum of 9 months of acute care Registered Nursing experience
• Current registration in New Hampshire as a Registered Nurse
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required

Responsibilities

• Assess patient pain regularly to promote effective pain management and reassess after interventions
• Perform procedures and document care in the patient record timely
• Respond promptly to patient requests and anticipate needs
• Teach patients and families about conditions, treatment plans and medications
• Educate on lifestyle changes and self-management after discharge
