Job summary

Southeast Colorado Hospital District is seeking a Registered Nurse to coordinate and deliver patient care in the Emergency Room using the nursing process. The RN identifies patient needs, plans and delegates care, executes provider interventions, and evaluates progress toward outcomes.

Required qualifications include an active Colorado RN license and BLS with ACLS/TNCC/PALS within six months. Strong clinical knowledge, teamwork, and adherence to safety are essential in this fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse License in good standing with the State of Colorado.
• BLS. ACLS, TNCC and PALS certifications required within six months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assess the patient’s physical and psychosocial condition on an ongoing basis throughout the continuum of care.
• Develop a plan of patient care reflecting nursing diagnoses and interventions to achieve outcomes.
• Implement the patient plan of care in collaboration with the healthcare team.
• Evaluate patient outcomes, effectiveness of plan of care, and readiness for discharge.
• Complete required documentation in an accurate and timely manner.
