Job summary

Southeast Colorado Hospital District is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to coordinate and deliver patient care in the Emergency Room. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care while collaborating with physicians and the healthcare team to meet patient outcomes.

Required Colorado RN license with BLS, ACLS, TNCC, and PALS certifications anticipated within six months of hire. Competitive benefits package and ample paid leave offered.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse License in good standing with the State of Colorado.
• BLS, ACLS, TNCC and PALS certifications required within six months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assess the patient’s physical and psychosocial condition on an ongoing basis throughout the continuum of care.
• Develop a plan of patient care reflecting nursing diagnoses and interventions to achieve outcomes.
• Implement the patient plan of care in collaboration with the healthcare team.
• Evaluate patient outcomes and readiness for discharge.
• Communicate patient’s plan of care and changes to the interdisciplinary team and family.
• Participate in performance improvement and risk management activities.
