Job summary

Blanchard Valley Regional Health Center is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to coordinate total nursing care for patients under the supervision of the Director of Nursing. The role involves patient and family teaching, leadership, and maintaining standards for professional nursing practice in a fast-paced hospital setting.

The RN will use the nursing process, collaborate with physicians, and guide nursing staff to ensure high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Current state RN licensure is required.
• BCLS, ACLS, PALS within 6 months of hire; TNCC within 1 year.
• Ability to provide age-appropriate patient care and strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate nursing care using the nursing process to meet patient needs.
• Teach patients and families and promote learning opportunities.
• Provide age-appropriate care and collaborate with physicians on care plans.
• Lead LPNs, aides, and secretaries to ensure quality patient care.
• Adhere to policies, maintain competencies, and promote service excellence.
• Demonstrate teamwork and maintain unit standards of patient care.
• Uphold organizational mission, vision, and values in daily practice.
• Maintain safety and handle high‑stress situations in a fast-paced unit.
