Job summary

Arnot Health in Elmira, NY is seeking an Emergency Room Registered Nurse to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced ED. Onsite at 600 Roe Ave, Elmira, NY 14905, with evening shifts and weekend/holiday rotation.

Qualified candidates hold current NYS nursing licensure (or eligible), and BLS & ACLS certification or ability to obtain within 30 days. Competitive pay and benefits offered by Centralus Health family.

Qualifications

• Current NYS nursing licensure, limited permit or eligible.
• BLS & ACLS Required or obtained within 30 days of employment

Responsibilities

• Perform rapid patient assessments and prioritize care based on acuity
• Provide emergency nursing care including medication administration, IV therapy, cardiac monitoring
• Accurately document patient care in the electronic health record
• Educate patient and families on treatment plans and discharge instructions
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
• Collaborate effectively with physicians, advanced practice providers, and support staff
• Work with other interdisciplinary teams
