Job summary

Arnot Health in Elmira, NY seeks an Emergency Room/SANE Registered Nurse to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in the fast-paced ED. The role requires bedside assessment, timely interventions, and collaborative care with physicians and staff.

Night shifts with weekend and holiday rotations are required; onsite at 600 Roe Ave, Elmira, NY 14905. Competitive pay with a sign-on bonus for qualified RNs.

Qualifications

• Current NYS nursing licensure, limited permit or eligible.
• BLS & ACLS Required or obtained within 30 days of employment

Responsibilities

• Perform rapid patient assessments and prioritize care based on acuity
• Provide emergency nursing care including medication administration, IV therapy, cardiac monitoring
• Accurately document patient care in the electronic health record
• Educate patient and families on treatment plans and discharge instructions
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
• Collaborate effectively with physicians, advanced practice providers, and support staff
• Work with other interdisciplinary teams
