Job summary

Inspira Health Network in New Jersey is seeking an experienced Emergency Department RN to assess patients, set care priorities, and implement intervention plans in collaboration with the medical team.

Eligible candidates must hold active NJ RN licensure and complete BLS, ACLS, and PALS within specified timeframes, with Trauma Nurse Core training and CC courses highly valued. Per diem options may apply in some shifts.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a BSN or MSN program within six months of hire and graduate by third employment anniversary date.
• Current licensure with New Jersey State Board of Nursing.
• American Heart Association BLS, ACLS within 6 months, PALS within 6 months; Trauma Nurse Core Courses within 12 months; CNOR/CEC or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs patient assessment and determines priority of care; provides immediate interventions.
• Analyzes assessment data, formulates and implements a plan of care, and evaluates effectiveness with medical staff.
• Adheres to Inspira Health Network policies and procedures and ensures safe, evidence-based nursing care.

Education

BSN or MSN program enrolled (within six months of hire)

NJ RN licensure (current)

BSN/MSN graduates preferred
