Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• BLS certification required; RN license in state(s) where care is provided.
• Typically requires 1 year of clinical nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Engages in unit councils, governance, and quality initiatives to improve care and apply evidence-based practices.
• Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate nursing care, engaging patients and families.
• Monitors patient conditions, adjusts care plans, mobilizes resources, and collaborates with the care team to influence outcomes.
• Upholds a culture of safety and maintains accuracy in EHR documentation.
• May float to other units or facilities to meet patient care needs.
