Job summary

Island Health in Anacortes, WA seeks an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for the Emergency Department. This full-time, mid-day shift role provides comprehensive patient care from infancy to adulthood, with a focus on triage and ED workflows.

Required are WA RN licensure and ED experience, plus BLS/ACLS and TNCC/PALS certifications. The job includes shift differentials and an onsite ED team environment.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Washington State RN License.
• EMERGENCY Department experience preferred with active certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to patients from infancy to adulthood.
• Assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate patient care in the ED.
• Administer medications and treatments per nursing standards.
• Maintain documentation and patient confidentiality.
• Collaborate with health team and departments to ensure patient safety.
